Asim Azher is a young heartthrob singer & new sensation of Pakistani music. He has earned huge fame in Pakistan & across the border. He is a great motivational inspiration for youth. He proved that by hard work & struggle you can achieve what you want to achieve, never bow down before adversities.
Asim Azher was born in Karachi on 29october, 1996. His mother name is Gul-e-rana, also a very famous TV actress. He belongs to an artistic family. His father Azher Hussain is a very famous pianist. Asim Azher is an amazing addition in the pop music industry of Pakistan. He has a unique, smooth, sharp & deep voice. But people compare him with Justin Bieber. He is known as Pakistani Justin Bieber but comparing an artist with other artist is insulting.
He started his career at the very young age, when he didn’t even know about cheque book. He started his career very soon as a child actor. He has done jingles for TV ads & voiceovers. He did famous jingle e.g. Cadbury (kitna maza aye ray) & Cocomo (cocomo mjhe bhi do). He acted for a TV ad of Pepsi with Wasim akram which was shot in Malaysia. He told in an interview that his parents got the cheque for it from which they bought a new split AC which is still in his house.
He stepped into singing when he was about 12 or 13 maybe. He started singing for fun, did some covers too. His covers got famous which gave him boost. He did a cover song on “Shape of you” by Ed Sheeran which got famous all over the Pakistan.
In a recent interview he told that he sold tickets of concerts to get a chance to perform in it. His mother supported him in his struggles & now she is proud of her son. He came in limelight in January of 2013 when he uploaded his first video song ‘whistle Punjabi remix’ on youtube. Asim cover a single ‘A Team’ of Ed Sheeran for which he gained huge popularity. Ed Sheeran himself praised this song on twitter. After that Asim released 4 singles ‘Hands in the Air’, ‘Maahi Aaja’, ‘Soniye’ & Sunlay in 2014 which were hugely loved by people. All of his songs have catchy melodies which he himself likes the most. After these catchy melodies songs he became one of the established male singers of Pakistan in the age of 17. He has also sung many hit OST songs for the TV serials of different channels such as ‘Dil Banjara’ of Hum TV, ‘Haasil’ & ‘Tere Bina’ of Geo TV & OST ‘Saajna’ ‘Anabiya’ for ARY Digital. He released his first music album known as ‘Noor’ in feb 14, 2017. This was also a huge hit. He worked with Noor Khan, TV actress & model in the serial ‘Noor’ containing all of his ‘Noor’ album songs cover ‘Noor’, ‘Jiya’, Sapnay’, ‘Sun Jaa’ & ‘Tu ne kabhi socha’. Asim is a fabulous writer too. All of his songs are written by himself. His single ‘Khuwahish’ also got a huge response from his fans. He made his debut in the biggest musical show of Pakistan ‘Coke Studio’ season 8 in 2015 & he was the youngest featured artist of the season. He gave a beautiful number ‘Hina ki Khusbo’ with Samra khan. In season 9 he did ‘Tera wo Pyar’ with Momina Mustehsin which became viral on social media. This song received 54M views on youtube ans so on. This song was a game changer. Now he is recently going to perform in London & Manchester.
He also has some hidden skills which not some of people know. Asim loves to play cricket, football, badminton, basketball and many more. Cricket and football are his favorite sports. He has played for ‘under 16 PIA’s team’ and wants to play for International cricket team. He wanted to become a cricketer first, but life has planned something else for him.
Before and after becoming a superstar, he always treats his fans like his friends. He is very loyal to his fans, which is the fans like most about him. He has a strong bonding with his fans. He has gained grounds by his hard work & dedication. As a competitor you can criticize him but you can’t comment wrong about his behavior. As a fan I can say that he is better than Justin Bieber. . Asim azher has own style & talent. A person or artist always dreams to be known as his own identity. If you start comparing him with a different personality, that maybe hurt an artist’s feeling. His own personality would hide from this comparing. That’s not fair to any artist. So don’t compare anyone’s art with other. But Asim azher disproved all these rumors by his hard work & talent.
