U.S. Senate Vote on Resolution to Block Further Trump Strikes on Iran The United States Senate recently held a closely watched vote on a resolution that sought to limit further military strikes on Iran ordered by Donald Trump. The proposal aimed to require additional congressional approval before any expanded military action against Iran could take place. The vote highlighted ongoing debates in Washington about the constitutional balance of power between the presidency and Congress when it comes to decisions involving military force. According to reporting by The Washington Post, the resolution was designed to reaffirm Congress’s authority over war powers. Under the U.S. Constitution, Congress holds the power to declare war, while the president serves as commander-in-chief of the armed forces. Over the decades, tensions have often arisen between these two branches of government over how military actions should be authorized and supervised. Background of the Resolution The S...

Reports Say U.S. Iran War May Cost Around $1,000,000,000 a Day, as Democrats Argue the Same Amount Could Fund a Year of Health Care for Nearly 110,000 Americans

Reports Say U.S.–Iran War May Cost Around $1 Billion a Day as Democrats Argue the Same Amount Could Fund Health Care for Nearly 110,000 Americans The growing conflict between the United States and Iran has sparked intense debate in Washington, not only over military strategy but also over the financial cost of war. According to various estimates discussed by policymakers and analysts, the war could cost the United States roughly $1 billion per day, a figure that has become central to political arguments about national priorities and government spending. Some Democratic lawmakers argue that such a large amount of money could instead fund health care for tens of thousands of Americans for an entire year. The debate comes amid escalating tensions following U.S. military strikes on Iran and the widening conflict in the Middle East. As the fighting intensifies, lawmakers in Congress have begun asking critical questions about the war’s long-term costs, its objectives, and the pot...

Good Governance and Public Servants

Good governance is something that has remains victim of poverty, unemployment, terrorism, contemptuous and derogatory activities since millenniums. Though we pass through the conrotatory and literal definition of good governance it may be defined as: "Good governance is a process of making decisions and implementing decisions made, properly and effectively." it can be evaluated that god governance revolve around a process of decision making. It is all about making right decision at the right time and practically applying them and it is the duty of public servants , playing indispensable role in managing things, to apply all the decisions and prevent them to remain on just a piece of paper. The good governance is as important to the life of country as the blood for human. As it is said. “As you sow so shall you reap” if you govern your public and country veracity today, you will have fruitful results tomorrow. Poverty is one of the major issues throughout the world an...

Political Instabilities And Romance With The Administration In Our State

Political instability in a state has much to do with it’s policies, way forward and the daily routine. How it is effecting can be explained by a fine example in our neighbor state, Favorite nation at once, you know what I am talking about The INDIA a state who fought three battles with mine and one with it’s another neighbor CHINA but if we look at it’s progress, infrastructure and advancements in industrial and administrative scale than it’s far away from us. Yes there were wars that would’ve shook the economy, made the billionaires to move out and rising the unemployment but they are standing at better place than us. On the other hand we had much more drama within the state THE MARTIAL’S LAW which didn’t let the state run in the way it’s natives wanted to be. Ruling over the governments elected by the civilians and making them go for asylum cause they are allegedly involved in corruption, misuse of law and being the rats sometimes as well. Those doing the so called accountabilit...

The 20 Minus 1 Story

Ruler-ship, politics reflects a nation growth , its natives frame set and foreseeing. The leader one may called politicians reflects ourselves. Most of us, are able to recognize the power of vote its uses and significance. A few months ago in our political arena a result had disclosed( 120-NA). We all were aware of the results and its consequences. This deliberately urged me to relate this dilemma to a narrated incident ; a sarcastic story: On this marvelous land created by the Creator , there was a small empire - a kingdom rule by an honest emperor. The ruler had selected by the natives - having rational mind frame. The king -- beloved highness invested to build a beautiful , enchanting and fruit bearing garden. Both the ruler and locals used the pathway to complete their chores. For the welfare of his community a wierd idea hit in king's mind like - a blue lightning was to give a beating of 20 lashes who ever try to use the pathway . The maxim had introduced and implemented o...

American political decay isn't caused by Trump. The blame rests squarely on the US Congress

President Donald Trump’s barrage of attacks on the foundations of democratic governance- threatening checks and balances, civil rights and liberties, and long-established political norms- is not the cause of American political decay but its causal effect. The United States is heralded as one of the oldest constitutional democracies in the world. Despite suffering from its due share of setbacks, the U.S. political system has managed to survive the test of time. It has survived a civil war, two world wars and a cold war that put humanity closer to total annihilation. Each time there has been a threat to its foundations, the system has re-adjusted to achieve sustainable political equilibrium. It is a highly complex political architecture which was ingeniously designed by the Founding Fathers to ensure one thing- preventing autocracy. James Madison played a formative role in forging this political architecture. Madison’s theory of organising government was based on the ideas of Enlig...

An Unusual Election in France

The first ever election under the state of emergency; the collapse of traditional parties; the emergence of political neophytes; the ideological schisms along sectional lines - the recent French presidential elections were unlike anything seen in the modern French political history. The French political process, like most western democracies, had conventionally been dominated by two major parties - Republicans on the right and socialists on the left. François Fillon, the center-right Republican, ran on conventional conservative agenda of economic liberalism and social illiberalism. Contrarily, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, an ex-Trotskyist, led a hard-left campaign against economic globalization. The result, however, has thrown the establishment parties out of the race. In the first round of French Elections, Emmanuel Macron (leader of En Marche!) has secured 24.1 percent of the vote followed by Marine Le Pen, of National Front, with 21.3 percent. These two front-runners have utterly antit...
