Good Governance and Public Servants

Good governance is something that has remains victim of poverty, unemployment, terrorism, contemptuous and derogatory activities since millenniums. Though we pass through the conrotatory and literal definition of good governance it may be defined as:
"Good governance is a process of making decisions and implementing decisions made, properly and effectively."
it can be evaluated that god governance revolve around a process of decision making. It is all about making right decision at the right time and practically applying them and it is the duty of public servants , playing indispensable role in managing things, to apply all the decisions and prevent them to remain on just a piece of paper.
The good governance is as important to the life of country as the blood for human. As it is said. “As you sow so shall you reap” if you govern your public and country veracity today, you will have fruitful results tomorrow.
Poverty is one of the major issues throughout the world and India is the country lies below poverty line since many years, up till now their govt could not asses and develop ways to overcome.
But it is also true where there is hope there is light.” China is one of the leading countries and has concatenations with other countries by starting projects of economic corridors.
Now bringing to light public servants “public servants play pivotal role in good governance, they are the primary factors to prosper their nations and country.  The public servants should be accountable they must be clear with their responsibilities and duties. Like to make good reputation of country across the borders, opening ways of tourism, reducing illiteracy and poverty rate, coping with unemployment, achieving monetary and fiscal policies’ goals, and most important following ethics in each action. Now let’s have a glance at causes and reasons that bring bad governance:

LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY

It is necessary for a country to rule, that each and every citizen including officials, judicial and authorities to be responsible for their good or bad deeds. Unfortunately such sense of accountability is missing.

INFLATION

Good governance and role of public servants fail because officials fail to make efficient monetary policies to control flow or circulation of money.

LACK OF PROPER PLANNING

A good planning is a checklist, roadmap that helps to walk on the way to achieve goal. But there is no proper planning in our country. A great deal of lacking exit in hospitals, schools, universities and major victims are rural slums.

LUST FOR POWER AND MONEY

Even in the era of 21st century still there is existence of feudalism, favoritism and nepotism which compel to have lust and concentration of power in one hand.

RIGGING IN ELECTION

Rigging in election is one of the major issues, countries has to face. Good governance is victim of political rivals, every political party is running behind seats but no one knows the correct use of seat. They don’t focus on brainstorming for solving problems instead they are mingling and creating problems. It is said. “Two heads are better than one” but there are many empty heads who failed to resolve crises.

LACK OF CHARISMATIC LEADERS

Nations are facing severe disease of absence of charismatic leaders to follow. Presence of such leaders can provide a complete code of life.

POLITICAL INFLUENCE

Good governance failed because political parties influencing in each aspect negatively. Such influence leads to death of merit in institutions. Consequences can be seen everywhere, youngsters are not getting jobs and education on merit.

FOREIGN LOANS

Foreign loans are some other major cause of bad governance. A recent study shows; Pakistan obtained a high record of foreign loans, up to $10 billion of which 37% came from china alone. And the role of government is that instead of reducing loan burdens government is pressing itself under the loans of World Bank, IMF and other financial institutions.

AMERICAN INTERVENTION

Nicolas Bentley said.” Learning history is easy but learning its lessons seems impossibly difficult.”  It was the history in the era of Zia ul Haq, the entrance of refugees in our beloved country brought about terrorism, IDP’s, political disturbance and the most important it brought down the peace of country. Today once again the history is repeating itself, American’s are intervening in Russia, Pakistan and Afghanistan. The delicate and fragile lives of people are on threat. An international trade has been reduced; people become victim of depressed thoughts.

LACK OF USE OF NATURAL RESOURCES

Pakistan is one of the countries, rich in natural resources but failed to identify and discovered them properly. Balochistan is mineral rich province, Punjab is the soil of agriculture, Sindh has the longest river. Unfortunately despite having so many blessing the government could not utilize them for the prosperity of country.
Such reasons/causes leads to fatal consequences like brain drain; due to so many discrepancies and unlawful system, the impacts on human mind is very negative and instead of working optimistically they begin to remain depressed, an energy drain the way where it is not needed.
Violation of women rights is breeding. It is said manv is created from the rib of woman but it’s disgusting to realize that women right violation is on brink now a days. Speaking the world has modernize yet there are many rural territories against the women's’ education, awareness and much more. Despite living in such pressure of society there exist women like Malala Yousafzai, Sharmeen Obaid and Muneeba Mazarin, who bringing light in darkness.
It can be concluded that fate of nation is in the hands of people living in it, recognize strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats properly to nip in the bud of problems.
