Journey Of A Rain Drop!

Once I was sitting on a stair step in my university. Outside my department, with a cup of coffee in my hand and the sound of rain falling on the nearby pavement. I could see the rain drops hitting the ground and vanishing like they never existed. In a moment they just became part of ground. They traveled all the way from sky down to earth covering a distance of million miles and the next moment, gone! One rain drop must have covered a hard journey of coming down to earth, from being formed somewhere up ,to the falling on ground, it would have faced so much, and what did it get in the end? Suddenly I noticed that some of the rain drops were falling onto the grass , some onto the flowers. The rain drops were faded after that, but the beauty they gave to the grass and the flowers was mesmerizing, the freshness which the petal of the flower had after the rain drop quenched it, was dazzling!
It occurred to me that these rain drops are similar to people, some rain drops are like those who hit the ground and just vanishes, those are the people who are selfish, caring about just themselves ,after they are gone nobody remembers them. When I look around in university I see many people like that, I have always been told that university is a place where you will find many fake people and it turns out to be true.. But there were some rain drops, who fell onto the grass and flowers, they become faded like other rain drops also but they give beauty to their surroundings, these are similar to people who are not self-centered, they help others and care. These are the friends you may find in university, or maybe some of your teachers also. Who can teach you valuable lessons in your life, After we leave university and enter our profession life, We remember them! because they are the kind of people whose existence , makes a difference within the world!
