PANGA IS CHANGA !

When you are walking down the street with your friends and the sweat is stinging your eyes. Everyone is craving for an exotic drink, the first things pops up in our mind is the Ultimate PANGA which is an elixir of energy, and it is a concoction of ice cream and milk which makes it feel like happiness in a glass Although the journey to Annexe seems like crossing the Sahara desert in blazing sun but it’s all worth it for the amazing delicious PANGA <3

Titles so Far

Like all of our families, UET might also have some fussy aunts who could not decide its name for once, UET has changed names over the past periods. Its former names are "Mughalpura Technical College" and "Maclagan Engineering College" And now "University of Engineering and technology".

AUDI and STADI

Our majestic and magnificent Auditorium aka the "Audi" and the mighty Stadium are the most common spots for functions, its either an exhibition or a concert, a ceremony or an award distribution, We all know where to go. Stadium is famous for birthday celebrations where the birthday guy receives more eggs than gifts…

UC! Heaven for foodies

United Cafeteria offers you a wide variety of food items to satisfy every kind of person found in the university including the DESI food Lovers and the BURGER Kids .The cafeteria is flooded with students at the break hours .They know how to enrich flavors to tempt our taste buds. Everyone know that we have been served with all kind of meat, but being a vegetarian is not an option.

Billboards of UET

Whenever an event is approaching near, you can see the big banner hanging on the Architecture department and GSSC. These buildings are always available TO LET. One should really go to these events because societies spend a lot of money in covering those walls.

Folk Rainbow

UET is a cultural hub. It has students from Africa, China, Somalia, Bengal, Palestine, Iran and many other countries making our institute multicultural and multiethnic and giving us the opportunity to explore their culture and learn to respect the differences we have with them but we all blend in together as beautiful rainbow.

Jannat Road

The road to girl’s hostel is nothing less than a "Jannat Road" for guys. Because there are more trees in the university than girls. I wonder what should we call the road to boy’s hostel..
Jahannam Road? No?

The Museum

When an institute is more than 150 years old, they ought to have their own museum. Which is filled with the semester projects and final exams of students which are no less than any ancient assets. Just kidding! It consist of two floors of dream world of science which is a fantasy came real for nerds and it is built up by engineers just like us. Way to go future engineers!

The Burger bachay and workshops!

Every Burger bacha gets a "Raghra" at the workshop. When it comes to working on a lathe machine or making a sand casting, you have to stop acting like the daddy's princess or mama's boy and get to know how cruel the world can get. I mean why? Just why?

Chamber of Secrets!

If you are thinking about Harry Potter, Sorry to break it to you but I’m talking about the chamber of secrets of UET, our beloved "Main block" It is the oldest building of the university which has changed over the time. It has seen all kinds of era of engineering students. It’s the proud legacy of our university.

Electric Shocks!

UET is the first university to have its very own power plant so students are not bothered by the Electricity crises in the country. Although I think the hidden purpose to create this is so they can shock the students whenever they want. Because apparently exams, quizzes, assignments and presentations weren’t good enough for that.

RIP Students

When you spend 4 years working hard getting the label of an engineer, and at the end you don’t get the job you deserve, and you get the wedding invitation from your bae ,you know what is the right place to go, the graveyard so you can bury yourself and rest in peace.

Universal Contact

As the University has prepared the situation for our after life by providing us the graveyard, it is also offering to learn new languages because who knows angels may speak Chinese, German or French in your grave! That’s right! These all language courses are offered in our one and only UET so the Students can be well prepared for all kinds of communication in this world or in heaven, or hell.
